In memory of fine gentleman and an inspirational mentor.
A dear friend for the best part of sixty years. John has always been a great companion in both a work and social environment. He will be sorely missed, but we still have wonderful memories of many narrow boat trips on Wolverley and frequent "Trips to the Bell". Thank you John.
We visited our wonderful friend John numerous times at Sue Ryder and were overwhelmed by the kindness and professionalism of the staff both to us and John. We miss him terribly but are thankful that we knew him for 45 years and the good times we shared.
I doubt that any of us will have the pleasure of a more loving, clever, witty, visionary in our lives. Such a loss.
For the dearest of gentlemen- much missed
Will miss you my friend.
In loving memory of John xx
A man most generous with his time and knowledge. Difficult to replace.
I’m memory of my Uncle John who will be missed so much by so many. Determined, humorous, intelligent and kind until the end. Thank you to Sue Ryder for looking after him so well xxx
Thank you for being my brother/brother in law and always being there for us when needed. You will be desperately missed by us and many many other people. A special thank you to the staff at the Duchess of Kent Sue Ryder Hospice for the amazing care and help given to my brother and the family in his last weeks of life.
Always busy, always kind. A good friend who will be sorely missed.
Thatched Cottage was like a second home for us as teenagers. We have so many special memories from that time - thank you for helping us create them x
Amongst many, many things that have been said - John was a true gentleman with a lovely sense of humour.
